Operations Coordinator (Part-Time)

GORI Group is seeking an Operations Coordinator to help maintain the daily business operations and oversee the M-Card related process. The candidate will also provide administrative support, customer relations, database management, reporting and filing.

Rate: $20-$30 per hour (20 hours a month)

Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for M-Card related process such as placing orders and sending mails
  • Provide customer service to M-Card holders and guests (Gmail, Social Media)
  • Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Communicate with special guests and give them a prompt guideline
  • Required to attend monthly social events
  • Required to attend bi-weekly meetings (Video Conference)

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience in an office management capacity is plus
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word)
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with others
  • Excellent communication and time management skills

Parameters:

  • This is a part-time position
  • This may become a full-time employment based on interest
  • Candidate will work remotely

Event Coordinator (Part-time)

GORI Group is seeking an Event Coordinator to work under our Project Manager to both assist in pre-production coordination and onsite execution of events. 

Rate: $50 per hour (Approx. 3-4 hours per event)

Responsibilities: 

  • Setup registration and other operating stations including M-Card table, game, special program, and raffle for all events
  • Prepare and deliver event materials
  • Responsible for wrapping up entire event operations and take all items to the storage
  • Assist MC to proceed announcement during the event
  • Traveling to on site inspections and project managing events
  • Managing operational and administrative functions to ensure specific projects are delivered efficiently
  • Required to attend monthly social events
  • Required to attend bi-weekly meetings (Video Conference)

Qualification:

  • Recent graduate or currently enrolled in college pursing a 4-year degree
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with others
  • Excellent communication and time management skills

Design Intern

GORI Group is seeking a skilled Design Intern to create beautiful and effective visual communication for all GORI events. The Design Intern will work closely with Leadership, overseeing the creative development and packaging of advertising opportunities. The Design Intern will also manage brainstorms, design and production of all visual assets associated with a given campaign at the marketing stage. 

Hours of work: 20 hours a month

Qualifications: 

  • Fluent in Adobe Design Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
  • Strong visual eye for layout design and typography
  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced, start-up environment
  • Self starter—Ability to work independently as well as in cross-functional groups
  • Must be flexible, able to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Strong portfolio showing previous visual and interaction design work

Event Planning Intern

  • Strong attention to detail with ability to communicate effectively and professionally
  • Ability to multi-task and perform well under pressure and in a fast-paced team environment
  • Post-event data management
  • Flexible, with willingness and ability to work independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft word, excel and basic knowledge of Google drive

Parameters:

  • This is an unpaid position
  • This may become a full/part time paid internship based on interest
  • Candidate will be required to be available on all event dates
